Reproductive surgery in the era of ART


Today, reproductive surgery can be divided into three categories: surgery as a primary conventional surgical treatment of infertility, surgery to enhance the pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization, and surgery for fertility preservation. This course outlines the major female genital tract pathologies that impair fertility and their treatment.

Instructor

Dr. Roy Mashiach

Dr. Mashiach competed his MD at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and then completed his specialization in gynecology at the Lis Maternity and Women’s Hospital, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, and a fellowships in endoscopy at the Polyclinique de I’Hotel-Dieu, Universite d’Auveregne, Clermont, France.

He is a Senior Physician, Vice Chair of the Gynecology Department at Tel Hashomer Hospital, Israel, which provides routine and preventative care services to its patients as well as a full range of gynecological surgical procedures for the proper management of its patients with benign gynecologic disorders. Advanced care is offered in all gynecological subspecialties such as: Urogynecology, Colposcopy, Fetal Loss Clinic, and Post Menopausal Clinic.
